In September 2024, employees of Genotek Medical Genetics Centre will act as instructors in the ‘Data Analysis in Biology and Medicine’ programme at the HSE Faculty of Computer Science. Genotek’s expertise in Big Data analysis and processing of sequencing data has allowed the revision of the curriculum to include modern data analysis methods in biology.

During a recent online meeting organised by the International Office of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, students and graduates of HSE University shared their experiences of adapting to life in Moscow. They highlighted key aspects of living in the capital and the distinctive features of the academic environment at the university.

By 2050, global life expectancy is set to increase by 4.6 years. In Russia, women's life expectancy is forecast to rise from 77 years in 2022 to 82 years by 2050, while men's life expectancy is likely to increase from 68 to 75 years. This is according to a study by an international team of scientists, including Professor Vasily Vlassov from the HSE Faculty of Social Sciences. The study was published in The Lancet.
