Higher School of Economics to Teach Art of Dreaming on Moscow’s Night of the Arts
The main opening event will be a dance flash mob in which around 100 students from the Higher School of Economics will take part.
The Faculty of Design will open its exposition, ‘The Latest Teachers’ Exhibition,’ at the university’s new building (11 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa). The exhibition will showcase works by famous artists and designers, as well as ‘street art’ graphics, space-altering video installations and even a designer cake.
The inside courtyard of the university’s building at 20 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa will host an open area called the ‘Art Courtyard of Dreams.’ The area will include a light show and an exhibition of designer benches painted by students of HSE’s Faculty of Design.
The ‘Workshop of the Arts’ will take place inside the building itself – in auditorium 101 – and include a showing of scientific documentaries featured in the 360° Film Festival, which ended recently. Workshops will also be held in greeting card design, bag painting, sandpainting and oratory.
Art is understood without translation, which is why we also invite foreign students and instructors of the university to celebrate Night of the Arts at the HSE.
The event will last from 8:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. Some highlights of the event are presented here.
