HSE Boasts the Best English Website among Russian Universities
HSE University has maintained its leading position in the ranking compiled by the Russian Council for International Affairs. The ranking evaluated the websites of 65 Russian universities. HSE was awarded 103 points out of 108, increasing its position by 11 points on last year. HSE's closest rival ranked a further 16 points behind, which is a larger gap than previously.
The ranking is compiled following a methodology that analyses separate sections of university websites. These included, among others: admissions, educational programmes, departments and faculties, research, library services and employment opportunities. A total of 108 parameters across 16 sections were taken into account. The ranking assessed the effectiveness of presenting information for various target audiences that include international applicants, students, alumni, researchers, institutional partners, ranking agencies, and journalists.
This ranking of English-language websites was compiled for the first time in 2015 and assessed 45 Russian universities at that time.

HSE Presents 6th Russian Regional Innovation Development Ranking
Moscow, Tatarstan and St. Petersburg are the leaders of the new ranking. Based on 53 indicators, the ranking can be used by regional governments to develop and optimize their innovation policy. The ranking presentation was held on October 31 at a press conference hosted by the TASS news agency.
1st Place
is HSE University’s ranking in terms of salaries of graduates employed in the field of economics and finance. The ranking was prepared by Superjob.ru research centre based on a study of the average income of young professionals who graduated from 2013–2018.

Russian Presidential grants for first year BA students at Russian universities have been awarded for the first time for the 2015/2016 academic year. HSE students were among the top recipients.

FIFA President Awarded HSE Sports Management Graduates
Graduates of the joint FIFA/CIES – HSE programme in Sports Management have won the FIFA/CIES Network Prize for 2016 for their 360º Academy project. The winners were awarded their prize by Gianni Infantino.
