HSE Graduate School of Business Holds Fall Career Week
The HSE Graduate School of Business Career Centre held the traditional Fall Career Week and Job Fair, which took place online for the first time. 34 companies from different business sectors (consulting, finances, IT, FMCG, retail, and telecom) participated in the event. More than 63 representatives of different companies gave talks and master classes for GSB students.
‘Philosophy Isn’t Taught in School. You Have to Gain the Knowledge and Systematize It Yourself’
Amiran Karatsev won the 2020 HSE Global Scholarship Competition (GSC) in Tajikistan in subjects that are not usually taught in high school: philosophy and psychology. HSE University in St. Petersburg and Ca' Foscari University of Venice Launch a Double Degree Programme in Asian Studies
Students of the Master's programme 'Business and Politics in Modern Asia' now have the opportunity to study in the programme of Ca' Foscari University ‘Language and Management in China' for a year. On completion of their studies, students will get diplomas of both universities.

Classes Start at HSE International Preparatory Programmes

Two Additional HSE – Moscow Programmes Receive International ZEvA Accreditation
The Central Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation (ZEvA) determined that the HSE Bachelor’s programme in ‘Sociology’ and the HSE Master’s programme in ‘Comparative Social Research’ meet international educational quality standards. Both programmes have been accredited unconditionally for six years.
HSE University in St. Petersburg and UCL Open a New Master's Programme
In the new joint master's programme 'Comparative Russian and Eurasian Politics', which will begin accepting applications in 2021, students will divide their time betwee University College London and HSE University - Saint Petersburg. Upon graduation, students will earn a double degree awarded by both universities. The programme is of interest of those who want to study politics in Russia and the post-Soviet region and gain a deeper knowledge of the area that will equip them for region-related careers or further study at the doctoral level.
Third International Economics Olympiad Kicks Off Online
This year’s International Economics Olympiad for high school students started on September 7 with an opening ceremony that celebrated the biggest and most diverse group of students yet to compete in the Olympiad, now in its third year. 29 teams from 29 countries will compete this time. The event, which is being held online due to the pandemic, will last until September 13.

HSE University Rector Yaroslav Kuzminov has welcomed first year students to HSE University. He told the newly enrolled students about the importance of wearing masks on campus, the autumn flu vaccination, as well as important changes in the educational process.
