The Laboratory for Studies in Economic Sociology (LSES) was established at HSE University in 2006 to promote economic and sociological research and actively use research results in teaching. In addition, the Laboratory aims to help build a professional community of economic sociologists by involving early career researchers and teachers, as well as engage high achieving students in research and teaching.
