Despite sanctions pressure and the departure of numerous international companies, Russian IT workers take an optimistic view of the development prospects of the domestic IT industry.

On December 15 2022, HSE Center for African Studies in partnership with the company Innopraktika held the round table « Russia-Africa: Digital Transformation of Public Administration » and presented there the concept of the e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Hub for Africa. The experts discussed suggestions regarding the contents of the e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Programme and presented reports on the prospects of cooperation with African countries in the digital markets.

On April 27, 2021 the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration of the IPAG held the round table "Evaluation of digital readiness of the population for the implementation of digital technologies in Russia" within the framework of the XXII April International Scientific Conference of the Higher School of Economics.

HSE researchers calculate the economic effect of open data publication

According to the calculations of researchers from the Centre for Analysis of the Performance of Executive Authorities at IPAMM NRU HSE and the HSE Directorate for Expert Analytical Work, the total economic effect of the use of applications based on open data in Moscow's public transport could top RUB 58 billion a year.
