Doctor of Technical Sciences, prof. Mirkin Boris Grigorievich.

Theme: COVID-19 mortality and its measurement
Speaker: Blagoveshchensky Y.N.
Annotation:
The report outlines an approach to constructing a mortality indicator, which is calculated according to the same algorithm for different countries and for different periods of time and is based on edited data on the daily number of infected and dead from official sources on the COVID-19 epidemic. The construction of the indicator is based on the “Ideal Data Model”, within which lethality can be calculated directly, plus an estimate, developed by the author of the report, based on disparate medical data, of the survival curve of those who were infected with SARS-CoV-2 and eventually died. Testing was carried out on the calculated trajectories of the indicator for 25 countries (Russia among them) and for 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation until November 2, 2021.
