Annotation:
The study is devoted to the development of a group of methods for quantifying the effectiveness of the functioning of identical objects according to a fixed set of parameters, the values of which are known inaccurately. For the proposed methods based on the idea of using interval representations to describe parameter values, their mathematical properties and the influence of these properties on the results of quantitative evaluation of the effectiveness of the functioning of similar objects, both in model examples and in concrete real examples, are investigated. The methods of quantitative evaluation of effectiveness proposed in the study were used to compare the effectiveness of the functioning of a) existing regional fire safety systems in the Russian Federation, and b) existing anti-coronavirus quarantine measures in the largest countries of the world.
