Topic: Research on organizational communications: a methodological framework and an example of the analysis of complex networks
 
Annotation: 
Communications in organizations are complex in nature, due to the many possible types of relationships, transmitted content and communication tools. In this paper, we will present developments related to the application of the methodology of social network analysis to analyze real data about communications in the company ("digital traces"). The data has a complex structure and makes it possible to analyze multirelation (multiplex) networks with different types of relationships, extract two-modal networks and construct new two-modal and single-modal networks from them, as well as analyze changes in the network dynamics. The speakers will be happy to discuss the proposed workflow with the workshop participants and jointly think about further areas of work in the field of network organizational research.
