Research Paper Competition Winners Can Get a Headstart on Their Academic Careers

The application period for HSE’s Student Research Paper Competition has started. The winners will have an opportunity to take part in workshops on academic skills development, while those in state-financed studies will improve their chances of seeing their academic scholarships increased. Also, in addition in HSE students, learners from other academic institutions are eligible for this competition.

Students from more than 20 countries and almost 200 international staff members currently study and work at HSE. With this in mind, HSE Day in Gorky Park will offer a platform for intercultural communication in the most varied of fields, from music to breaking stereotypes about certain countries and cultures. Here, international students will take the lead, and you’ll be able to learn about various cultures first-hand.

HSE Best Teachers Election Starts

From May 30 to June 19 students can vote for HSE’s best teachers of the academic year. This year there is no need to come to the university to vote. Students and alumni can submit their scores online via LMS.

HSE and University of California at San Diego Offer New Specialization on Coursera

HSE has teamed up with the University of California at San Diego (ranked 14th on the ARWU ranking, 41st on THE, and 59th on QS) to launch the new Data Structures and Algorithms specialization on Coursera. The specialization is taught completely in English and consists of five interrelated courses. Registration is open until March 7.
