The aim of the program is to teach students the basics of humanitarian, social, economic, mathematical and natural science knowledge and to obtain a higher, professionally profiled (at the bachelor's level) education, what will allow the graduate to work successfully in the field of enterprise architecture design, strategic planning for the development of IS and ICT enterprise management, organization of life cycle processes for IS and ICT enterprise management, analytical support of decision-making processes for enterprise management. Students are are expected to possess universal and professional competencies that contribute to their social mobility and stability in the labor market.
Practical work takes up a significant part of the program. From the second year, students work on individual course works. In their third year, they participate in various projects proposed by the partners of the faculty. During their last year, students are focused on their theses.
In each course, student can switch to research work, which is discussed during research seminars or continue practice-oriented projects, working on cases offered by the partners of the faculty.
Graduates of the program make up the most demanded segment of IT specialists: system architects, system integrators, business analysts, IT managers, IT consultants, IT project managers, sales and service specialists, business development specialists.
Professional competencies are specific to the graduates of the program. Professional competencies are determined on the basis of professional standards that correspond to the professional activities of graduates, as well as on the basis of an analysis of labor market requirements, generalization of foreign experience, consultation with leading employers, associations of employers in the industry in which graduates are in demand.
As a result of mastering the program, the graduate develops professional competencies in the following activities:
• analytical,
• organizational and managerial,
• project,
• research,
• consulting,
• innovative and entrepreneurial.
From the disciplines of the approved curriculum of the educational program, the student forms his own individual curriculum, containing at least 60 credit units for one academic year, which includes:
• general programme part;
• professional programme part,
• extra profile;
• research and project seminars;
• course projects;
• final state certification – theses defence;
• electives
The professional cycle includes the Basic Components and Elective Components of the Educational Track:
• Corporate information systems;
• Business analytics.
This degree programme of HSE University is adapted for students with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities. There is a specially designed Physical Education course available for such students (Syllabus of the adapted Physical Education course). Special assistive technology and teaching aids are used for collective and individual learning of students with SEN and disabilities. The specific adaptive features of the programme are listed in each subject's full syllabus and are available to students through the online Learning Management System.
