Student Projects Collect 5,069 HSEcoins Before Taking a Break

At the beginning of the new academic year, HSE launched a new mechanism to support student projects called HSEcoin.  The first phase of fundraising through this platform took place from September 13 to November 20. During this time, student projects managed to collect 5,069.14 HSEcoins, which equals more than one million roubles based on 2018 exchange rates.  Below is a summary of the first phase of the HSEcoin campaign.

Photo Exhibition Opens at Shabolovka Campus

Twelve photographs of Moscow landmarks and skyline made in summer by Johnson Chow Chun Shing, an intern at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, are currently on display at Shabolvoka building. Participants of the Autumn School "Modern Trends in Decision Theory" were invited to the gala opening and were the first guests of the exhibition. The Faculty of Economic Sciences' Dean, Oleg Zamulin welcomed the guests, and, together with the International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis Head Professor Fuad Aleskerov cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

The ‘Open Your Eyes’ Project: Collection for Nursing Homes

On October 9-11 ‘Open Your Eyes’, an HSE charity project, will be collecting items for 250 elderly people at a nursing home in Klin.

'Clover' Green Festival: Photo Report

On September 22, 2018 the 'Clover' Green Festival was held at HSE Media Yard. HSE students and guests of the event brought clothes and batteries for recycling, exchanged books, drew their own prints on ecobags and took part in the ecoquest.

On July 8, amendments to Russian migration legislation regulating the registration of foreign citizens coming to the Russian Federation came into effect.
