Our programme provides students with the opportunity to dive into the diverse world of the Ancient Egyptians, which existed for over 3,000 years. First, the students will gain fundamental knowledge of the Egyptian language in addition to several other ancient and modern languages that are useful both for Egyptian studies and the related fields.
Students will also explore the culture, economy, and law of Ancient Egypt. These studies are based on reading key primary sources in the original language, as well as studying the material evidence during museum internships or archaeological expeditions. International Egyptologists will be actively involved in teaching, helping students to expand their academic perspective and prepare for international collaboration. Experiencing different cultures, languages and types of data will open opportunities in research, secondary education, higher education, tourism, journalism, and international relations.
