The "Economy and Politics of Asia" programme expands the geography of applicants

The Head of School of International Regional Studies and the Deputy Dcademic Head of the Program Vishnyakova Vera Vladimirovna visited the Irkutsk lyceum No. 3 and Ust-Kutsk Lyceum No. 1 with a lecture "Russian Turn to the East: New Prospects in the Choice of Future Profession".

Advantages of choosing the profession connected with the countries of East, Southeast and Southern Asia and prospects of choosing the regional studies direction as basic preparation in a bachelor’s degree were discussed during the meeting with seniors.

Participants of this meeting learned about HSE potential, prospects of studying at our university and advantages of getting education in the university located in Moscow as well as algorithms of creating personal educational path.

Audience showed high interest in continuing education in universities, motivation in personal growth and serious level of preparation and background knowledge. Questions were asked about a future political policy of our country, as well as which professions are going to be most interesting for employers in the future.

Lectures were informative and useful both for the lecturer and participants. The administration of the Programme expresses gratitude to representatives of the schools who organized these meetings.
