2nd Year Students Practice on the Oceanology in Kaliningrad: Acquaintance with the Work of Oceanologists, Studying the Urban Environment

Anastasia Shinkarik, 2nd year student of the Geography of Global Changes and Geoinformation Technology program, won the nomination for a particularly relevant and significant project at the 27th Esri User Conference in Russia and the CIS. Anastasia has presented a geoinformation platform for the graves search at the Northern Cemetery in Perm.
First Years Complete Their First Summer Field Practice
First year students of the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformation Technology completed a field trip to the Kursk Biosphere Station of the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The study programme included modules on geomorphology, geochemistry and soil science, geobotany, hydrometeorology, cartography and social geography.
