Dr Sean Guillory will hold a seminar about Podcasts in HSE on October 1

Have you ever thought about spreading your ideas outside the university?

Downloadable audio programs for smart phones and computers, known as Podcasts, have allowed experts and activists to bring public scholarship to thousands over the internet. Over 100 million people in North America listen to podcasts monthly, so media outlets in Russia like Meduza reach tens of thousands of people with each episode.

The Sean Russia Blog Podcast is the leading podcast on Russian and Eurasian history and current affairs. Its host, Dr. Guillory, during his show,  interviews academics about their recent books and journalists about recent events in the region. Each episode is downloaded  5,000 times in general.
Dr. Sean Guillory will come to Higher School of Economics on Week 6 (Sept, 30 - Oct, 4) to explain how he launched the podcast and how you can start your own podcast just using PC and an internet access.
