Vladimir Mukharlyamov enrolled at ICEF after his success in the All Russian Olympiads in Economics and Entrepreneurship. After graduating from ICEF BSc in 2008 he continued studies on the MSc programme in Finance and Economics at the London School of Economics. On completion of his MSc Vladimir started a PhD in Economics at Harvard University. Since 2016 he has worked as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Georgetown University. His research has been published in The Journal of Financial Economics and The Review of Financial Studies. Vladimir is a winner of Golden HSE Award in the Alumni Success category.

Asan Kurmanguzhin graduated from the ICEF BSc programme in 2008, then enrolled on the MSc programme at the London School of Economics. After having worked in McKinsey he also received an MBA from Harvard. He is now a CEO at SberMarket, a part of Sberbank’s ecosystem. SberMarket is a successful online grocery delivery service, which was recently launched all around Russia. Dmitry Storcheus graduated from ICEF’s BSc programme in 2011 and then entered the MSc programme in Mathematics at The Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences in New York (NYU). In 2017, after working for Google for several years, he continued hisstudies at NYU on a PhD programme created jointly with the corporation. Currently he is a Software Engineer in the Google Research department in NY and conducts research with one of the institute’s most outstandingresearchers, Professor Mehryar Mohri, who is also his colleague in the Google Research laboratory. Dmitry specializes in Machine Learning (ML), in particular in AutoML – the most cutting-edge trend which allows the creation ofself-studying neural networks that do not demand the participation of a programmer.
