From February 26-28, the ICEF Winter Research Conference took place in the HSE’s Voronovo Study Centre. The three-day intensive programme catered to students taking part in the ICEF Academia and ARDP initiatives.

In addition to career events they organize on campus, these firms also participate in various ICEF initiatives. We are grateful to those of them giving us feedback and answering questions, which are of interest to our students and recent graduates. Alumni Reunion at ICEF 2015
On December 25, 2015 the alumni reunion evening was held at ICEF.

Dmitry Storcheus graduated from ICEF in 2011 and continued his research at The Courant Institute. Now, he is a leading expert in machine learning, working in the Google Research Group. Dmitry explains why studying at ICEF was essential for his rapid academic success.

Evgenia Kondrashina graduated with honours from the International College of Economics and Finance bachelor’s programme in 2005 before going on to receive her master’s from the London School of Economics. An excellent student, Evgenia for a long time thought that the next logical step would be a prestigious career at a top English consulting firm, but the idea of following in others’ footsteps doesn’t make everyone happy. Evgenia deviated from this trajectory and found herself in one of the world’s leading orchestras – the London Symphony Orchestra – where she continues to work today.
