Visit to the Oran Graduate School of Economics (ESE Oran), Algeria
At the height of the tangerine season in Russia, Oleg Korneev, Academic Supervisor of the BA programme “International Relations and Global Studies” (IRGS) visited Oran (Algeria). The province of Oran is the birthplace and the veritable capital of clementines, which makes visiting it in winter especially symbolic. But Oran is known not only for its sweet sunny citrus fruits, rai music, urban legends from the times of the plague, inimitable architectural blends and unique seaside atmosphere that inspired works of Albert Camus and creations of Yves Saint Laurent. This second-largest city in Algeria is also an authoritative business and cultural centre, and a major pole of research and higher education in the country.
Student Research Paper Competition 2020 Accepting Submissions
Any student or 2020 graduate of a Russian or international university is eligible to take part in the Student Research Paper Competition. Papers can be submitted from September 1 to October 15. The competition has been held at HSE University since 2003.

On the 1st and 2nd of September a joint conference took place between NRU HSE and the Telos-Paul Piccone Institute. It’s subject: "After the End of Revolution: The Constitutional Order of the Amid the Crisis of Democracy" was heavily debated at the Higher School of Economics campus.
