The programme in Korean Language, Literature, and Culture prepares experts in the language, literature and culture of traditional and contemporary Korea. It is unlike any other programme in Russia or abroad, and devotes equal attention to contemporary and medieval language, history, philosophy and culture via literature and the linguistic and culturological analysis of original texts.

The programme offers a unique perspective on Korean studies: it is completely focused on working with sources and is aimed at those interested in a historical perspective and who want to pursue theoretical research and multidisciplinary academic research in philology, history and Asian studies.
