On a Monday evening at a stylish jazz club in Moscow, there was a Russian-American music collaboration, a rare scene amid tensions between the two countries. The sole U.S. performer at this July 8 jazz concert was Michelle Daniel, an intern at the International Office, the HSE Faculty of Economic Sciences. She is staying in Moscow for almost three months, with the ambitious goal of helping to improve Russian-American relations.

The Measles Vaccine Is Again Available at HSE. Why Is It So Important to Get Vaccinated?
Because measles is already near. Don’t forget that there was a case of the measles in the Faculty of Communications, Media, and Design at Khitrovsky pereulok, 2/8, building 5. In order to ensure the safety of students and staff, HSE will begin offering the measles vaccine on campus once again starting February 19. Sergey Pekarski Elected New Dean of Faculty of Economic Sciences
The HSE Academic Council announced that Sergey Pekarski, Head of the Department of Theoretical Economics, will take over as Dean of Faculty from Oleg Zamulin, who will join Sberbank’s Centre of Macroeconomic Research as Director. Professor Zamulin will retain his position of professor at the faculty and continue teaching.

In November, HSE is launching its Student Survey. This year, students will be able to not only share their experiences about life at the university, but also take part in a competition to win an electric scooter.
