The Turkic peoples represent one of the most numerous ethno-linguistic communities in the world, and, with this in mind, this programme aims to provide an in-depth study of the Turkish language, as well as other modern and ancient Turkic languages and the culture, history, and traditions of the Turkic peoples.

This programme is aimed at training highly skilled Turkologists, capable of understanding current political and cultural developments in the Turkic world, as well as enhancing the Russian Turkology school.
