‍Voting for HSE University's Best Teachers 2025 Is Now Over

Students voted online through the LMS module ‘Course evaluation’ immediately after completing the student evaluation of teaching. Participants in the HSE/NES Joint Programme in Economics cast their ballots via the NES information system. Each student could nominate up to four teachers.

HSE alumni also voted. Graduates could name three teachers whose work and assistance they found most memorable during their studies at HSE as part of the annual autumn Alumni Monitoring (a link to which was sent to all graduates of the university in 2024 who did not continue their education), as well as in a separate survey of those PhD students who graduated from master's programmes in 2024. The results of the alumni survey were also considered when totalling the results.

Another voting category is Best Research Supervisors, who have earned this status through the success of their students in the 2024 Student Research Paper Competition. Research supervisors of students who ranked in the top three of the competition were also named Best Teachers.
