Instead of moving to Pokrovka (as originally planned), the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs will receive an additional building at 29 Malaya Ordynka Street, and its current buildings, located at 17 Malaya Ordynka and 47/7 Bolshaya Ordynka, will be renovated.

On July 25, upon the approval of the Moscow City Construction Supervision and the Department of Cultural Heritage of Moscow, HSE University’s new Pokrovka complex opened its doors. The complex, located at 11 Pokrovsky Boulevard, is HSE’s largest and most modern Moscow campus. Classes will begin there in September.
When the reconstruction is completed, HSE University’s largest library branch yet is set to open on Pokrovsky Boulevard. Library Director Natalia Maximova spoke with HSE University Life about how this library will be different from others on HSE’s Moscow campus.
Portrait galleries of renowned scientists, research laboratories right next to large classrooms and auditoriums, educational programmes for students and principals – these are just a few of the things discussed during an excursion around the HSE Institute of Education as part of the Open House project. Victoria Malova, a second-year student in the Evidence-Based Education Policy master’s programme, and Denis Federiakin, a second-year student in the Measurement in Psychology and Education master’s programme, served as the tour guides for the day.
