Uniquie Equipment at ICN HSE was created for scientific research with non-invasive stimulation, brain imaging, human eye movement recording, and more. Uniquie Equipment at ICN HSE is used in psychophysiology, psychology, neuroscience, sociology, medicine, and economics. This is both a unique environment for fundamental research and a universal center for the implementation of interdisciplinary approaches and applied research.

Research directions

1. mechanisms for making economic decisions,
2. processes that determine the psychophysiological state of a person,
3. mechanisms underlying goal-directed behavior.

Using Uniquie Equipment at ICN HSE, research related to any combination (synchronization) becomes possible:

1. Transcranial (and/or magnetic) stimulation of several points in the brain (TMS),
2. Visualization of electrophysiological parameters of the brain (EEG),
3. Evaluation of myographic parameters,
4. Eye movement analysis,
5. Assessment of vegetative indicators.

For what purposes can Uniquie Equipment at ICN HSE be used:

1. Conducting research by ICN staff in cooperation with other faculties of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (faculties of economics, management, philology), as well as Russian and foreign partners.
2. Improving the efficiency and quality of teaching students (bachelors, masters) and postgraduate students, as well as unique internships.
3. Increasing the citation of articles by Uniquie Equipment users.
4. Development of international cooperation and exchange of specialists in the field of neurotechnologies.
