Lecture by Professor Julia Kovas on How Education and Genes Are Related
Professor of Goldsmiths University of London and co-head of British psychogenetic laboratory Yulia Kovas has given a talk "Behavioural genetics in education" in the Centre for cognition and decision making.
In her talk prof. Kovas has touched upon important questions about genetics and education. Can we use genetics to imrpove education? What problems do current behavioural genetics face? How DNA affects individual educational differences? Prof. Kovas has updated listeners with latest developments in behavioural genetics and provided interesting insights in the significance of genes in the overall educational performance.
