About
The Degree Programmes Department is responsible for:
- Collecting statistics related to the student body;
- Issuing paper and electronic documents to students and alumni;
- Licensing and external quality assurance in the form of accreditation (state, international, public, professional) of degree programmes;
- Internal quality assurance, support for launching and updating degree programmes across all HSE campuses;
- Monitoring compliance with licensing requirements and educational standards;
- Drawing up HSE educational standards, providing methodological support in the course of their development and implementation;
- Supporting the development of new assessment materials aligned with HSE educational standards;
- Streamlining and supporting the operations of HSE degree programme offices and academic supervisors;
- Developing and implementing an internal quality assurance system for evaluating the performance of degree programme offices;
- Coordinating the processes of independent assessment of student learning outcomes;
- Developing assessment methods and technologies to enhance student competencies;
- Planning timetables, managing classroom resources, and ensuring necessary equipment is available;
- Overseeing the development and implementation of basic and working curricula;
- Keeping course syllabi up to date;
- Overseeing student practical training, including contract oversight;
- Supporting the Project Fair and SmartPro;
- Organising major student administrative processes (e.g., transfers to tuition-free studies, programme transfers, ranking calculations);
- Managing enrollment for electives as part of special learning modules (English, Russian as a Foreign Language, Data Culture, General courses, Minor, MagoLego), and optional courses;
- Administering MicroDegree modules;
- Supporting students in academic mobility programmes;
- Overseeing faculty workload;
- Providing methodological support to faculty and organising CPD programmes;
- Drawing up specifications and overseeing the development and implementation of new corporate information system modules;
- Support and development of LMS and SmartLMS;
- Support and development of the HSE Timetable Planning System (RUZ).
