Directions
At VDNKh station take the left exit to the small park and walk through it towards the Tikhvinskaya Church. Then straight down Ulitsa Tserkovnaya Gorka to Ulitsa Kibalchicha. Turn left and walk towards building 7 - the dormitory #5.
Infrastructure
Blocks/ Rooms
The dormitory is separated into two sections. In one part of the building there are rooms for 2-4 persons without ensuite facilities. In the other part of the building there are blocks, each of which has rooms for three, two or one persons, as well as a WC and a shower in a block.
The rooms are provided with beds, bedside tables, chairs (depending on the number of students in the room), a wardrobe, a table, a desk, a bookshelf, an ordinary shelf and a refrigerator.
Students are responsible for cleaning their rooms themselves.
Bathrooms
Each floor has two bathrooms with a shower, two toilets and two wash basins.
Shared bathrooms in a block of single rooms have a bath with shower fitting, a sink and a toilet.
Kitchens
There is one kitchen on each floor, equipped with an electric hob, a counter and a sink. There is also a small canteen with microwave oven and a cooler with hot and cold water.
The kitchens are open 24/7.
Laundry rooms, ironing equipment, bedclothes
There is a laundry room for washing, drying and ironing linen and clothes near the kitchen on each floor.
Students are provided with: a pillow, a pillow cover, a mattress, a mattress cover, a woolen blanket, a bedspread, and a set of bedclothes: a sheet, a blanket cover, a pillowcase, and a towel.
Bedclothes are changed weekly.
Study rooms
Two rooms for self-study are located on the 5th floor. The rooms are equipped with desks and chairs, speed wireless Internet.
Internet
Free WiFi is available, authorization required.
The speed of Internet connection is 100 megabytes per second.
Sports and recreation
There is a gym, a table tennis room and a lounge room on the first floor. The gym is equipped with all necessary equipment and iopen 24/7. The lounge room features a small library with books by Russian and foreign authors, books in foreign languages, board games, and a piano. There are comfortable halls on each floor where you can relax and chat.
Security and entry regulations
Private security supervises the dorm.
Guards monitor what happens inside the facilities, and video cameras have been installed near the dormitory’s entrance and along its perimeters.
Parents and guests are allowed in the dorm daily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
