Infrastructure
BLOCKS/ROOMS
All rooms are fully equipped and have refrigerators, beds, bedside tables, desks, computer chairs, bookshelves, wardrobes, and desk lamps.
There is a bathroom in each room (shower, sink with mirror, toilet).
There is a wardrobe with a hanger and a shelf for shoes.
Students are responsible for cleaning their rooms themselves.
KITCHENS
The dormitory is equipped with a kitchen and a dining hall on each floor.
The kitchen on the first floor has 6 induction cooktops, two microwave ovens, two sinks, tables with convenient storage cupboards, and a water purifier. The dining hall seats 26 people.
Two kitchens on the second and the third floors are equipped with 4 induction cooktops, two microwave ovens, tables with convenient storage cupboards, and a water purifier. Dining halls on the second and third floors seat 16 people.
The kitchens are open 24/7.
Students and cleaning services are responsible for cleaning the kitchens, according to a rota.
LAUNDRY ROOMS, BEDCLOTHES
There is a laundry room on the first floor with ten washing machines. There are also clothes dryers. They can be used 24/7.
There are ironing rooms on floors two and three, equipped with ironing boards and irons.
Students are provided with: a pillow, a pillow cover, a mattress, a mattress pad, a woolen duvet, a bedspread, and a set of bedclothes: a sheet, a duvet cover, a pillowcase, and a towel set.
Bedclothes are changed weekly.
INTERNET
Wired Internet and free WiFi are available on all floors.
There is an internet outlet and WiFi in each room.
STUDY ROOMS
There are self-study rooms on the first and fourth floors. These rooms have desks, chairs, shelves, mobile marker boards, electrical and Internet outlets, as well as WiFi.
There are lounges with comfortable furniture on all floors.
FOOD SERVICE
Diksi and Pyatiorochka supermarkets, as well as a fast food restaurant, are located within a walking distance.
SPORTS AND RECREATION
There are two gyms (one of the them is for table tennis) on the first floor.
SECURITY AND ENTRY REGULATIONS
Private security supervises the dorm. Guards monitor what happens inside the facilities, and video cameras have been installed near the dormitory’s entrance and along its perimeters.
The dormitory is open 24/7 for HSE University doctoral students.
Parents and guests are allowed in the dorm daily between the hours of 8 am and 11 pm.
