A UNIVERSITY HAS ITS LIMITS: ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES MANAGEMENT AT A LARGE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY The case is an educational product that includes a text description of the status of educational program portfolio management at one of the major regional Russian universities, background information about this university and methodological recommendations for applying the case in the educational process. This work is intended for use in the educational process of the system of higher and additional professional education in order to improve students' competencies in strategic and tactical management of university educational activities. The main advantages of the product are related to the presentation of the following data in its structure: - a systematic description (modeling) of the organization of EP management activities in a large regional university; - the results of the analysis of existing practices and tools for managing higher education; - characteristics of the approaches identified by the authors to the management of educational institutions at universities.
