The final qualification includes three products. The first product is an analytical study «Regional Higher Education System of the Republic of Tatarstan: Challenges and Solutions». The use of the product contributes to solving the problems of sustainable socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan, improving the regional system of higher education in accordance with new tasks of scientific and technological development, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for the development of higher education in the Republic of Tatarstan. The product is designed to form strategies for the development of education, scientific and technological development and attracting applicants to universities in the Republic of Tatarstan. It allows improving the mechanisms of interaction between universities and industrial partners and forming targeted recommendations for strengthening the role of education in the regional economy. The work provides a comprehensive analysis of the socio-economic indicators of the Republic of Tatarstan, the higher education system, including an analysis of the labor market, migration flows, and the results of the Unified State Exam; trends, problem areas are highlighted and a vision of the development of the system is presented in the form of two scenarios. The results of the study are based on statistical data, regulatory documents, and scientific publications, which ensures their reliability and practical significance. The second product is a scientific article « Academic Friendship as a Form of Mentorship in Education and Science» devoted to the problematization of the phenomenon of academic friendship as a form of mentoring in higher education and science and representing a theoretical study with elements of bibliometric analysis. The use of the product can contribute to: improving the quality of interpersonal relationships between students and faculty; increasing the involvement and motivation of young and entry-level employees; creating a supportive and trusting atmosphere; increasing the effectiveness of mentoring processes and adaptation of new employees; developing and exchanging experience between employees; stimulating creativity and innovation; forming and developing scientific schools and professional communities. Product advantages: modern trends are covered, such as a human-centered approach to management, horizontal communications, and the development of informal connections in the academic environment; comprehensiveness - a combination of theoretical analysis with obtaining empirical data as a result of bibliometric analysis; practical significance for developing models of academic friendship and mentoring in educational institutions; methodological value - the analysis of the relationships between key concepts presented in the article can serve as a basis for further research in this area. Product three - problem-oriented case « Cancel vs. Continue: the Case of Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management in Training Economists and Managers». The use of the product can help identify the reasons for the decrease in student enrollment in UGS 38.00.00 «Economics and Management» and formulate appropriate hypotheses; a comprehensive analysis of the current situation using data on the dynamics of admission, expert opinions, labor market needs and survey results; development of management decisions aimed at increasing the attractiveness and competitiveness of educational programs; development of comprehensive measures to increase student enrollment. Product advantages: a systematic approach, a comprehensive examination of the problem from different angles, including analysis of internal data, opinions of external experts, the situation on the labor market and educational trends; interactivity – the case involves active involvement of users in the process of analysis and decision-making, which contributes to the development of analytical and management skills of students; practical focus – the solutions proposed on the basis of the case are specific and can be directly implemented in the practice of university management; validity – the solutions are supported by data analysis and expert opinions, which increases their validity and reduces risks.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.
