The paper discusses the legal basis for the creation and operation of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea. The role of cameras on the seabed. Investigated the position of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea regarding the case of the detention of the vessel Arctic Sunrise and its crew.
