Interaction of the Production Systems of Enterprises for Sustainable Development

<p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Topic: Interaction of the Production Systems of Enterprises for Sustainable Development.</strong></p><p><strong>Key words: production system, interaction of the production systems, 3C model.</strong></p><p>The aim of the research is to analyse interaction of the production systems applying to 3C model due to examples of multinational companies all over the world and local enterprises, which implement Lean concept. To reach this goal the following tasks were accomplished:</p><p>1)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduction an analysis of 3C model (Continuation, Conception, Configuration);</p><p>2)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Based on 3C model investigation of foreign, namely Japanese (Toyota, Nissan), German (Bosch, Porsche), American (Boeing, General Electric) and Russian (KAMAZ, Severstal, RJD) production systems;</p><p>3)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Calculation of Lean financial indices for all companies;</p><p>4)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The correlation determination of Lean indices and features of interaction among production systems.</p><p>During the analysis the following hypotheses were confirmed:</p><p>1)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Companies enjoying high Lean indicators are considered to be leaders in their production segment (a big market share, high qualities of products/services);</p><p>2)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Companies enjoying high Lean indicators possess close connections with partners/suppliers, i.e. present highly integrated production systems;</p><p>3)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; There is an impact on financial indices of Lean performance from national features of the production approach.</p><p>Comparative analysis of current production system elements and processing of quantitative data with consequent ranking were adopted to find out principles and come to conclusions.</p><p>3C model, which was introduced by Dutch scientists, has not been utilized in Russian papers and has described the production system in the aero cosmic industry only. In the presented study 3C model is a basis for the company&rsquo;s investigation in such areas as automobile engineering, aviation, household appliances, metallurgy and land transportation.</p><p>Having analyzed the production systems, Japanese, American, German and Russian treats of the production approach were discovered. Moreover, it was found that flexibility and integration of production systems are key factors for success in the competition.</p><p>As the local example of interaction of the production systems for sustainable development, the study of the production systems collaboration project which includes the metal delivery to KAMAZ from Severstal due to RJD&rsquo;s services was conducted. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
