<p>This work is devoted to the study of knowledge management. The purpose of the study is to explore domestic and international management experience and knowledge on this basis to develop proposals and recommendations to improve the management of projects in a large FMCG company.</p><p>To achieve this goal in the paper solves the following main tasks:</p><p>1. Consider the theoretical foundations of knowledge management.</p><p>2. Examine the practical experience of knowledge management on the example of the online advertising market.</p><p>3. Develop recommendations for the implementation of knowledge management in project management on the example of the big FMCG company.</p><p>The first chapter of this work deals with the theoretical foundations of knowledge management. The second chapter is devoted to carrying out a research project in the field of knowledge management in the Russian advertising agencies. The third chapter provides recommendations for the implementation of knowledge management algorithms in the implementation process in a large FMCG company.</p><p>Basic methods of study - an analysis of the relevant scientific literature and conducting surveys .</p><p>By passing the theoretical scientific publications discussed in the first chapter of this work , in the research project were analyzed articles of the authors who have extensive experience in the study of the processes, systems implementation and knowledge management with experience in projects related to the implementation of various systems of knowledge management in large foreign companies. Performed an analysis of articles devoted to knowledge management, published in the journal &quot;Harvard Business Review&quot;.</p><p>To conduct the study questionnaire was designed based on the USA service - qualtrics.com, which lets you create a profile on-line, edit it, and analyze the data and to distribute questionnaires on the Internet.</p><p>During the survey, 62 respondents were interviewed. The study took into account only those questionnaires that were filled to 90 or more percent. In this regard, 18 questionnaires were excluded from consideration. Thus, the profiles 44 have been processed.</p><p>On the basis of the responses received were identified key challenges of knowledge management, data-intensive businesses are typical companies. Analyzed the impact of knowledge management systems on the Russian business of advertising agencies and the relationship of efficiency projects with systems of knowledge management. A list of the key knowledge for organizations of the type considered, and made ​​recommendations to improve the process of knowledge management in the industry.</p><p>Consideration of the company&#39;s business Х and experience of the company in the field of knowledge management allows us to apply the methodology of knowledge management in project management. Recommendations on the implementation of knowledge management processes related to project management. Also, a system for the collection, recording and dissemination of knowledge was developed.</p>
