Drivers' reaction to the introduction of parking fees: Moscow case

<p><span style="color: rgb(85, 85, 85); font-family: verdana; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.66666603088379px; background-color: rgb(247, 247, 247);">The general purpose of this academic project is to examine the drivers&rsquo; reactions, perceptions and uses of recently reconstructed Moscow parking spaces. More precisely, this paper provides a review of both theoretical and empirical literature on social analysis of urban everyday life. Specifically, the study examines how motorists organize their everyday routines under the parking regulations set by local authorities. What is more, the analysis of drivers&#39; attitudes towards the newly introduced measures is also provided. The qualitative data obtained through observation, content-analysis and interviewing will be used to develop this analysis. </span></p><p><span style="color: rgb(85, 85, 85); font-family: verdana; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.66666603088379px; background-color: rgb(247, 247, 247);">The problem of the present project lies in lack of the research on drivers&rsquo; perceptions and experience regarding newly introduced systems of parking facilities.
