Control System Toolbox and Robust Control Toolbox are sets of MATLAB's tools packages, extending its basic functionality. These sets were designed specifically to facilitate the analysis and synthesis of dynamic problems, design and simulation of control systems.

In this work, these extensions are not used, because the aim of this article was to build control systems using only the core system functions MATLAB. The second part of the article uses the graphics extension package Simulink to study robust properties of full dimension observers.

The first part deals with the method of the state space. This part is about method model, transformation and solution of the equations in the state space, the cases of controllability and observability of dynamical systems, the synthesis of feedback systems in the core of MATLAB.

The second part is devoted to the study of the robust properties of full dimension observers, in case of a linear system and two nonlinear systems. Systems modeling and studying of the properties of observers were conducted by MATLAB's extension package, Simulink.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.

In the event that a thesis is quoted or otherwise used, reference to the author’s name and the source of quotation is required.
