Undoubtedly, business process improvement plays a significant role in achievement of success and&nbsp;strengthening competitive advantages of a company.</p><p>The primary aim of this study is to apply a concept of &ldquo;Lean Six Sigma&rdquo; (LSS) to strengthen the competitive advantages of a retail company in order to reduce cycle time of order execution and assess the results of process improvement. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to analyze current order execution process, examine of the literature on the concepts aimed at improving the quality of business processes and their instruments, identify processes that have to be redesigned using LSS tools, propose the best process improvement methods and measure and assess the results of business process improvement. Optimization of processes carried out in stages according to the cycle of DMAIC. As a tool to determine the root problem was chosen &laquo;Why-Why&raquo; analysis.</p><p>By results of work it was found that the proposed measures for improvement of customer order execution process have a beneficial&nbsp;impact on the key performance indicators and economic performance of the company, which were presented in the model of strategic profit (DuPont model).</p><p><strong>Length </strong>of bachelor&rsquo;s thesis: pages &ndash; 106, pictures - 32, tables - 23, list of literary sources - 34, appendix &ndash; 4 on 12 pages.</p>
