Mu-Analysis and Synthesis in Robust Control Toolbox

Student: Dolgov Boris

Supervisor: Vladimir Ivanovich Kapalin

Faculty: Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics

Educational Programme: Specialist

Year of Graduation: 2014

Graduate work is devoted to issues of modeling of control systems in the computer mathematics MATLAB.

The first part deals with theoretical aspects of modeling the regulators robust systems. The work was considered an extension MATLAB - Robust Control Toolbox and its application to the analysis and synthesis of control systems, implementation of dynamic uncertainties in Robust Control Toolbox and robust stability analysis of control systems with uncertain parameters.

As an approach to the study of the stability method was chosen for μ-synthesis of robust systems. Under this method, the synthesis of robust systems implemented by DK iteration. In addition, due to the high dimensionality of robust controllers for systems considered in, the model order reduction and implementation of tools, presented extension Robust Control Toolbox.

In the second part, devoted to practical issues of modeling robust control systems using MATLAB and expansion opportunities Robust Control Toolbox, were considered: input uncertain parameters, the synthesis of robust controller using DK iteration method, as well as reduction of the order of the synthesized regulators.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.

In the event that a thesis is quoted or otherwise used, reference to the author’s name and the source of quotation is required.
