Performance of Luxury Goods Companies During Recent Economic Crisis

<p>Thus, the aim of this work was to consider some factors that explain the performance of companies during the 2008 financial crisis and ensuing recession. The study used a set of enterprises, collected manually, as well as all the data for the study. To further investigate the luxury market was limited to the so-called personal luxury items. The sample consisted of eighteen publicly traded companies working with luxury goods worldwide. Year, were considered in the work from 2006 to 2012, so they covered the entire global economic downturn of 2008-2009.</p>
