The internationalization of small-sized companies: integrative model of international entrepreneurial behaviour

<h1><span style="font-size: 12px;">The present paper aims at gaining a better understanding of the process of internationalization of small companies and more specifically of international entrepreneurial behaviour. The objective of the paper is to analyze existing models of internationalization of SMEs and understand how international entrepreneurial behaviour can lead to a competitive advantage.&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 12px;">Different integrative models of SME internationalization are reviewed and compared and one model is chosen for deeper analysis. The analysis is conducted by case based method via interviews with the founders/ partners of three small companies. The results of the interviews are incorporated into an adjusted international entrepreneurship integrative model. The model represents a useful tool for analyzing international behaviour of entrepreneurs but needs to be validated.</span></h1>
