The Legal Regime of the Domain Name

The present work is devoted to the analysis of the legal regime of the domain name. Including paper discusses: prerequisites of the domain name system and the Internet; identification of the modern legal regulation in the field of domain names; distinction between the concepts of a domain name and domain, as well as cottage definitions of these terms; the establishment of the legal nature of the domain name and its relation to intellectual property, in particular by means of individualization; review and analysis of the main ways of violations in the field of domain names and the basic methods of protection against such violations; study of the judicial, legislative and doctrinal approaches to the management of domain relations; International research methods in the field of the protection of domain names; to establish the influence of foreign standards to regulate relations in the domain of the Russian Federation. This work may be of interest to scholars, teachers, judges, lawyers, law students and all lawyers who are interested in intellectual property issues. Structurally Final qualifying work consists of an introduction, three chapters, divided into subchapters, conclusion and bibliography.
