The Role of Economic Conferences and Public Forums in GR

Public forums along with other public institutes and initiatives play an important role in developing Russia’s economy and the process of interaction between the government and the business responsively. Many critics admit that the institute of economic forums has become an instrument of “soft coordination” of the state and the business interests, which is rather efficient, especially in conditions of a developing economy. The work “The role of economic conferences and public forums in GR” aims to look closely at the role that public events and economic conferences play in the case of emerging institutional economy in Russia and construction of new relationship between the government and the business. Precise attention in the paper is paid to the GR strategies and activities adhered by the business actors on the forums and conferences as well as the outcome of this practice. These communicational platforms became a phenomenon in political, social and economical spheres and offer grand scope for future analysis.
