Investment Expansion of Latin American Multinational Corporations: the Main Trends and Prospects

Despite the fact that during the long period Latin American region was perceived only as a global receipt of foreign direct investment, in the new millennium representatives of some Latin American countries are involved in the accelerated process of transnationalization and drew attention of the economic community. The thesis is devoted to the analysis of investment expansion of transnational corporations with Latin American origin, their geographic and industrial diversification, the main barriers to investment expansion and the core prospects of this process.
