This project is intended to cover the major issues of taking anticorruption measures by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Russia according to the Russian anticorruption legislation. SMEs in Russia face numerous problems when they attempt to meet anticorruption requirements. Moreover, there are no recommendations for SMEs in Russian or foreign languages. This project reviews some of the foreign recommendations and articles on SMEs in order to describe the impact that corruption has on them. Furthermore, this study provides an overview of the problems that SMEs face in the fight against corruption. This project takes into account the peculiarities of the Russian business and legislation. Thus another method, which is used in this study, is interviewing Russian entrepreneurs on various topics (problems, administrative barriers etc.). According to the results of this project, the problem of implementing anticorruption measures in SMEs exists in many countries due to the lack of recommendations. Problems faced by SMEs are in fact similar in different countries. The main trend that these countries follow is the attempt to explain to SMEs what they should do to fight against corruption. Therefore this study aims to become one of such recommendations for SMEs of how to take adequate measures in combating corruption.
