Development of Pyrotechnic Devices Diagnostic Metodics for Rocket-Space Products

The pyrotechnic devices (explosive bolts, squibs), which belong to the category of extremely dangerous ones are widely used to control rocket engines and separation of the steps and blocks in the booster rocket. It leads to the necessity of diagnosing of their prefailure state. The analysis of the study and test methods of the pyrotechnic devices on serviceability is given in this work. A newly developed method of diagnosing of the prefailure state of the pyrotechnic devices is described. An electric circuit diagram of the sensor control of the pyrotechnic devices is developed and submitted.
