Tarasenko. - M .: Higher School of Economics, 2016. - 95 p.In this paper are discussed all the culinary shows, aired on the 4 most popular TV channels since 1991. The object of study - culinary shows of Russian television. The subject of study - evolution of culinary shows’ format features on Russian television. In the theoretical part the terms of television genre and television format are defined, the place of culinary shows in the system of entertainment programs is determined and also the key format components - dramaturgy, theme and format characters - are described. In the practical part some trends in the format features’ changes are revealed.
