Physical Capital As A Social Resource: Analysis Of The Practice Of Bodybuilding

In this study has examined the relationship of investment in physical capital and social capital accumulation in case of bodybuilding. Besides it analyzed the idea of the normal boundaries of the body that exists among engaged in bodybuilding. For these purposes, within the framework of qualitative methodology was conducted a set of semi-formalized interviews with people involved in bodybuilding. The results of the study were conception of how bodybuilding practices are imposed on the perception of the body, what are the social effects they can produce and how negatively affect investment in physical capital for social capital.
