The aim of this study was to develop an existential fulfillment test, operationalizing Längle’s theory of the four existential fundamental motivations. Test with 97 items has been developed by experts of existential analyses, which have been tested on the Russian-speaking population (N = 900). We selected 36 items based on the results of cluster analysis and expert`s evaluation of the test content. Test structure of the 12 subscales and 4 major scales was confirmed by exploratory factor analyses. The test demonstrated the acceptable internal reliability (Cronbach's alpha> 0.8). External validity was evaluated by investigation correlations between TEM and "Mini-mult", Rosenberg`s self-esteem test, alienation test in the adaptation of E. Osin, test "Locus of control" and subjective well-being scale. As a result of the analysis of the correlation coefficients between the scores of the TEM and the above tests, we concluded the confirmation of external validity of the test. The differences between the age groups and gender groups were not detected by T-test. We have proved the validity of the instrument and propose to use it for research and practical purposes.
