Distribution Network Performance Enhancement in the Context of Telecommunication Company Vimpel Com

This thesis is dedicated to the following acute topic: “Distribution Network Performance Enhancement in the Context of Telecommunication Company “VimpelCom””; the study consists of several parts, including introduction, company performance analysis, literature review, practical approaches development and implementation, its cost effectiveness assessment, conclusion. The aim of the thesis lies in practical methodology development and its successful application in order to achieve distribution network performance enhancement. The object of the study is a telecommunication enterprise “VimpelCom”. The subject of the thesis is the current distribution network of the company under examination. The following issues and challenges are examined and resolved in this study: 1. The company under examination performance analysis and current problems identification; 2. Literature review and elaboration of practical approaches and solutions dedicated to distribution network performance enhancement, including warehouses consolidation and its further outsourcing; 3. Cost effectiveness assessment of the said measures. This particular thesis is a sufficient and complete scientific work, based on a widely-regarded theoretical background and is made of economically viable and justified practical solutions.
