Special Features of Adaptation of Foreign Reality Show to the Russian TV Audience

This study is devoted to identifying the main factors and approaches of reality shows adaptions in Russia, the UK and Ukraine. The author analyzed the key orientations, aspects and forms of adaptations of Western television formats for Russian broadcasting. In order to achieve the set goals the author conducted a comparative analysis and revealed the features of the adaptations of the original reality show "Ladette to Lady" (RDF Media, ITV channel, England), and it's adaptations: "Friends of the Party", "New Channel" , Ukraine) and "Patsyanki" (Friends production, TV channel "Friday").
